On Tuesday, Sterling took to Instagram to not only announce the wrist surgery he underwent, but also confirmed that he was offered a bout with Edgar at the Madison Square Garden event on November 2. MMA Fighting reported on the matter. Sterling shares his thoughts on the situation The “Funk Master” explained in his post that the wrist injury for which the surgery was needed was not a new one, but rather a two-year-old tear in the Scapholunate ligament....

The main event of UFC London will have Curtis Blaydes take on Tom Aspinall. Blaydes, an NJCAA National Champion, made his MMA debut in 2014. Before he could get a heavyweight title shot, however, Blaydes once again lost to Ngannou, this time in 2018....

In case you didn’t know… Jon Jones was last seen within the Octagon space during a rematch against the current double-division champion, Daniel Cormier, at UFC 214. After three minutes into the third round, Jones landed a perfectly timed head kick, followed by a barrage of ground and pound strikes, to claim the light heavyweight championship belt. This win, however, was subsequently overturned into a no-contest bout, following Jones’ failure of USADA’s after-competition drug testing....

In an announcement made on Wednesday, Auburn Police stated that the Alabama Department of Forensic Sciences has identified the body as that of Blanchard. Blanchard went missing on 23rd October and three arrests have already been made in connection to the disappearance. Ibraheem Yazeed has been charged with first-degree kidnapping because an eye-witness testified saying he saw Yazeed force Blanchard inside her Honda CR-V against her will. Aniah’s stepfather Harris took to Instagram to share a very emotional message....

In case you didn’t know… Jon Jones made his highly awaited return to the UFC Octagon at UFC 232, in the main event of the show against Swedish fighter Alexander Gustafsson. Having faced off five years ago at UFC 165 in 2013, this was the rematch between the two Light Heavyweight fighters. Jones, however, made quick work of Gustafsson and finished off the fight in the third round in fascinating fashion, finishing ‘The Mauler’ via third-round TKO to become a three-time UFC Light Heavyweight Champion....

What made the situation worse was that Tucker and the referee Marc Goddard seemed to exchange words which made Conor McGregor talk about how the referee should have checked on the fighter who had been hit with the knee instead of exchanging words with Tucker. Tucker had only one thing to say about it, and that was he did not care what McGregor had to say. In case you didn’t know… Gavin Tucker had been out of the Octagon for almost two years after suffering his first-ever professional MMA loss....

During his post fight press conference after downing Uriah Hall in the first round this past weekend at UFC Fight Night 99, Mousasi admitted that he was willing to step into the Octagon with Nick Diaz before attempting to snatch up the 185 pound title: Mousasi is currently riding a four-fight win streak with wins over the likes of Thales Leites, Thiago Santos, Vitor Belfort, and Uriah Hall en route to landing a shot at the coveted middleweight throne....

‘The Future’ made a triumphant promotional debut inside Madison Square Garden on November 6. The Irishman defeated Jordan Williams with a brutal first-round knockout. The 23-year-old recently made an appearance on MMA journalist Ariel Helwani’s The MMA Hour. At one point during the interview, Garry discussed the voice notes uploaded by McGregor on Twitter, during which he showered praise on his young compatriot. However, her first pro MMA loss to Rose Namajunas in November 2017 kickstarted a slump in form for the former UFC Strawweight Champion. Jedrzejczyk revealed the reason behind her brief downfall on the most recent edition of UFC Unfiltered. She opened up about her relationship struggles and revealed that she was coming off a breakup with her ex-fiance before her first fight against Namajunas. It sadly got worse for the Polish fighter as she was informed about her manager’s financial mismanagement in 2019....

He also said he intended to wait it out, which is probably the best thing he can do to get ready for a championship fight. It appears to be Khabib Nurmagomedov that he wants to face more and he’s going to be waiting it out until April 18th and counting on The Eagle to defeat Tony Ferguson in their long-awaited match-up. We’re going to know whether he’s next in line following that fight....
