How to Do All Clinch Submissions in UFC 4
Standing Guillotine: After initiating a clinch from an orthodox stance, players should throw a knee (A or B on Xbox One and X or Circle on PS4) to move into a tight clinch. Now UFC 4 fans should hold LT + RB and press X (Xbox One) or hold L2 + R1 and press Square (PS4) to transition to a choke, and any punch button can be used to start the submission from this position. Flying Armbar: This is a fairly straightforward submission to execute, as players simply need to start a clinch, then hold LT/L2 + RB/R1, and then press either of the punch buttons in this new MMA fighting game. Rear Naked Choke: To do this submission a fan must first initiate a clinch and then press their opponent against the cage. At this point, if a player’s UFC 4 fighter is on the left side then they should press up on the left joystick, while they should press down if they are on the right. Now the player just needs to hold LT/L2 + RB/R1 and press a punch button, and they should then press a punch button again when they are in the Back Pack position.
To note, not every fighter can perform these submissions, and fans are thus advised to verify the specific moves that are available to their preferred fighters before they spend too much time on them. Fortunately, if a player discovers that their fighter cannot execute these submission, there are some other offensive options that can be done out of a clinch, such as takedowns in UFC 4, which are perfectly reasonable alternatives.
