In an interaction with MMA Fighting, Brown said that he does not like the idea of watching the pair of American Top Team trainees lock horns because it is bad for the gym.
Brown believes that Masvidal and Covington belong from the same family and although they will probably not train together, they are still teammates and will not fight one another.
Masvdal and Covington were good friends and used to train with each other but their relationship turned sour recently after they started badmouthing each other at press conferences and now, the pair don’t look each other in the eye.
Masvidal fought Nate Diaz at the main event of UFC 244 and emerged victorious, being crowned the first ever ‘BMF’ champion while Colby Covington is slated to go up against the UFC welterweight champion, Kamaru Usman in the headliner at UFC 245.
