As the fight got booked for the umpteenth time and is set to take place at UFC 249 inside the Barclays center in Brooklyn, New York on 18th April 2020, Ferguson remains confident that “fifth time’s the charm.”
If the fight does take place, it is going to be one of the biggest match-ups in the history of the UFC not just in terms of the stature of the two fighters but in terms of the intense rivalry between the pair that reflected in their previous interactions at pres conferences.
Speaking to ESPN’s Ariel Helwani on his MMA show, Ferguson said not only does he plan to take away Nurmagomedov’s undefeated streak, he also plans to make the Dagestani fighter bleed.
‘El Cucuy’ said that Nurmagomedov will buckle under the pressure of facing a guy like him and he will capitalize on any error that the Russian makes during their fight.
